Western Bridge and Link Road Phase 2

 Jackson Civil Engineering has submitted a Reserved Matters Planning Application to Mid Sussex District Council (MSDC) in relation to the development of a new section of road at Brookleigh which will be known locally as Westbridge Avenue.

This planning application is for the second phase of the Western Bridge and Link Road. This phase of works will provide a new link road, bridge, pedestrian and cycle infrastructure and associated landscaping between the newly constructed A2300 Roundabout and the proposed new central road through Brookleigh, known locally as Abbotsford Avenue. Please see map below.

The first phase of the Western Link Road is under construction and is due to open in late Spring/early Summer 2025. This section of road is also shown on the visual below and will be known locally as West End Farm Avenue.
